I personally LOVE this! I love the way how you managed to not only capture the main focus of this picture which is the piano but you also showed the rest of the room such as the background so that there is more to see but your eyes instantly zoom onto the piano.
I have not seen anything like this before and I really love it. It is beautiful and so different from what you originally see so it is unique, beautiful and you clearly have skill in your photography. Also it has an amazing impact to the viewer because of all those aspects of the shot.
Really well done.

Hello again, *illpadrino.

Another title that really suits the photo again. "Symphony of Silence" is a good title to a photo of an abandoned grand hotel which have hosted before events such as weddings and grand events. The wallpaper is teared apart, the floor with dust, a piano totally disused, windows and bricks destroyed, and a grand ceiling and chandelier dead and no longer living.
Still, the sun shines in the photo, and the windows are the source of light in this once grand hotel which was a beautiful point in old decades. Have yet not been abandoned the this would be in this kind of shape. Good photo, and I hope you capture more photos of abandoned places. I'll give you five stars.

I'd love to go there and play piano one day, maybe even film a cover video.

I love this. It's like one of those scenes in a movie where a guy goes to a place he hasn't been to in years and sees visions if the life an vibrancy that the place used to have.
Even tho the place is run down and falling apart I can almost see the memories it must have

Symphony of Silence... The Gathering?
Extremely good shot by the way. The colours are well balanced, composition is interesting and overall I am enjoying it very much.

The level of attention to detail here is superb; and I agree with [link], it should really have been larger, just to be able to drink in each little bit. Wonderful work!

Being a fan of nick cave and the bad seeds, I can only see this as the bar in 'O'malleys bar', after the character in the song has left it in the policecar.
Nice pic.

This is beautiful. Such a lovely array of textures - I love how it's so crowded, but the picture still has the sense of so much space.

This is so cool, it looks like a painting, the colors give this a surreal feel. Also looks vintage in a way.

Dear Matthias, thank you for sharing this picture. It shows perfectly how the "grandeur" lasts just few decades. I am in love with the UrbEx discipline in general, but this is the most beautiful photo and moment I've seen in years. Congrats for the exceptional work!

It's sooooooo very beautiful. There's a haunting energy to it, yet the piece is bursting with life. You have captured something here that persuades me to feel as if I am on the verge of an epiphany that will never fully be realized. All the pieces are here, everything is lined up in place, but the players are missing. The players will not be here this evening, or any for that matter.

An amazing piece. Great work.

It's so nice to know someone else appreciates old pianos, instead of the old "drop a piano from a cable" bit. Makes me wince... :)
This is beautiful. What medium did you use?
