Church of All Saints by Matthias-Haker Church of All Saints by Matthias-Haker
I recently discovered a couple of "new" abandoned churches.
Since churches are probably my absolute favorite subject when it comes to derelict buildings, i will show some in my next uploads ;)

By the way, Lighting in here is real and not photoshopped (Just in case anybody cares ;))

Stunning shot. Great looking buildings. Such a shame such imposing and grande places like these are just left to fall apart. Pity the Government does not step in and save them for conservation and history.

Whether good or bad, this scene will become more common in the West as the Christian religion fades away.

Many of your Deviations have a very lovely color contrast and an almost unnatural feel to them. Is this a photographic technique, or is it done in photoshop?

If it is a photographic technique, how does it work?

I do not post much information about the place to protect it from vandalism. i've seen so many sad things that happened to those places after they have been published in the internet. and since this place looks like it's going to be renovated in the future, it is another reason to protect it from any further damage.
All i can say is, that it is somewhere in Europe and has been rebuilt and painted around 1900...

Most people would think it's a complement to say "I thought it was a photograph" about a painting. Would it be a complement to say the opposite about this photo?

Wow! It's hard to believe that's a photo- something about the light and texture does make it seem surreal, but the fact that it is real makes it more exciting.

At first... I thought this was made by hand instead of being real... Wish I was there - probably warmer there too :P
I remember going to a neighboring derelict house once, when I was on exchange with Spain. It was fun, I threw rocks through the broken windows, saw many old used things. Too bad that when I found an entrance, my companion was too scared to continue, so we only took a few pictures outside... I really wanted to climb in there :/
I especially like how the sunbeams go through the window, and how the place and its "lost details" slightly glow in it, as if its some mysterious holy place... - apart from being a church ofcourse :3

stunning photography, but how awesome would it be if that church were restored back to it's original state?
that would be cool before and after shots! ;)

I like this photo:) May I ask something?
is this HDR or long exposure? or both?

It is not HDR in the meaning of transforming several shots into 32bit image and apply tonemapping afterwards, but it DRI ;)
