This photo displays the most beautifully abandoned treasures at such a high caliber. The effect is absolutely effortless and thoroughly enchanting. The photographer brings life and energy to places, most can not and will most likely never see.
The impact of color, light and endless open space allows the viewer to be taken to another place and time. Just look at the space! You can almost hear the music and feel the pulse of the beat through the camera lens. I also must critique the name as well- Hot Music II. Appropriately understated, in the sense that the name does not overpower the art, but completes it perfectly as a piece.

Da war Luzifer persönlich Zeremonienmeister!
Hätte vielleicht das Chaos etwas geradegerückt und etwas Farbentsättigung betrieben.
Würde meiner Meinung nach besser kommen.
Geschmackssache!
Ist aber schon ein Hammerfund.

That's the place! Some photos with so many people smoking and fog it was hard to see..... Hope it was closed when that happened as there have been too many tragic nightclub fires. The photo above tells a powerful story.

Was this place destroyed, and thus abandoned, due to fire? Off hand can't think of another reason for such equipment to have been left behind and never picked up.

The concept and composition are lovely, as is the subject matter. But in my opinion the overuse of HDR completely murders this image. I'd like to see it with a little less post-processing, otherwise it's quite nice.

you know hwat, i even agree with you in some part... i usually am kind of sick of hdr especially when it's too much.. however i like it to some xtent when it comes to images of abandoned places. but still, i know that i've gone too far with this one... that is what happens when you're in to editing one shot to much and upload it straight away and next morning you totally question your sanity because of what you did last night. that's why i usually think it is good to review your shot at least on one more day before uploading it. in this case, i came back home from a 1200km trip just to shoot this location, drank at least 12 energy drinks that day and since i was so incredibly flashed by the location started editing and definitely gone over the top. and since i uploaded it straight away to facebook (and it turned out to be one of my most succesful shots ever) i did not question it enough on the next day... i will definitely do another version of this with way less hdr, that's for sure...

As you say, sometimes I go too far with my own HDR and the images just does not come out right. But this one is kinda cool being blown out like this. If this were my own work, I would try toning down the reds and orange in PS using the Hue/Saturation. But once again, that would be my own choice and cannot suggest you do anything the same. Once in a while, when I get to this place, I also try converting to black and white just to see what happens.

You have a great collection of work, thanks.
