Description

This road has been one of the places i definitely had to see for more than 3 years now, and i finally managed to visit it recently. I must conclude, Ireland (and Northern Ireland) are extremely beautiful, and even though I had lot's of bad luck (i killed a 10 day old Sony A99 for example, and that is just one small piece of the hole puzzle) i really enjoyed the rough but very peaceful and incredible landscapes. Some of the most beautiful places i've came along for sure.

The Dark Hedges are a beautiful old avenue of Beech Trees line the Bregagh Road near the village of Armoy, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.

at first sight i thought it was a painting or a digital fantasy artwork but when i read the description it blew my mind away that something so surrealistically beautiful exists in reality. To me the mark of great photographers is that they manage/thrive to be at right places at the right time and we'd never have seen such beauty if you hadn't been there to capture this image. The angle at which the sunlight is hitting the camera could've been adjusted so as for the light to scatter to give more impact but all in all its a great shot, the lighting is great, the angle is still good enough to capture the vision with which you intended to take this shot, where you chose to stand also gives great view of the road and the trees and you did a quite a nice job!
