Waves II

Really, this piece is perfect. Please allow me to explain why.
There is beautifully crisp vision of both all the elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air.

Earth:
The green hills embody the massiveness of the landscape. There is a wonderful gradient of the shades of green running from the near to far. The stripes on the grass lead our eyes far off into the distance.

Water:
Although there isn't physically any water in this composition, the rises and falls of the earth resemble waves of water in the sea. You say so yourself in the title of this piece! This connection with the hills to waves gives it more movement to the viewer.

Fire:
We see no fire in this photograph either. But we may feel it from the sun's rays, clearly captured here as the sunlight gently caresses those waves and gives form to the composition. The sky itself is illuminated by the sun, for without it, how would we have day?

Air:
The clouds hovering above the grassy waves below are so fluffy and pure. It is really a pleasure to witness this artwork as a whole, since all of these elements are connected, always. Some elements may be hidden sometimes, but all you have to do is look a little harder and you just might see it.
