Deutsch:
Ich bin ein riesen Fan von guter "Treppenfotografie" aber das Bild hat mich echt umgehauen!
Ich dachte zu Anfang erst das es ein Foto von einer Miniaturtreppe ist bis ich dann anhand der Camera Data und des comments "The staircase of London Monument" dahinter stieg das es eine echte Treppe ist.
Wie dem auch sei...
Zu Anfang muss ich sagen das ich sehr von dem Surrealismus des Bildes beeindruckt bin. Der Focus ist sehr gut gelungen wie die Schärfentiefe die genau richtig gesetzt wurde was den Anschein macht das es viel kleiner ist als in Wirklichkeit. Was mich aber am meisten fasziniert ist der Mix zwischen Schwarz/Weiss und HDR was das ganze Bild irgendwie aufstrahlen lässt. Zum Schluss kann ich nur noch sagen das ich die leichten Texturen auf den Stufen generell wie dein ganzen Stil sehr Interessant finde. Du hast ein gutes Auge für Farben und Kontraste, Blickwinkel und Atmospheren.

I'm a huge fan of "staircasephotography" but this picture blew me away!
At the first look, I thought this is a shot of a miniature staircase or something, until I realized it's a real shot.
Anyways...
To begin with, I must say I'm impressed by the surrealism of this picture. The focus couldn't be better as the DOF, wich is perfect. But I am most stunned between the mix of Black&White and HDR...it let's the whole picture shine somehow. I really like those smooth textures on the stairs, too. Generally your whole style is interesting in my opinion, you got a great eye for the colors and contrasts, views and moods.

Surrealsim at his best!
